Save dat Money
Just trynna spread the wealth, so to speak. Focused on valuable cashback deals, bank bonuses, stock bonuses, and crypto bonuses. Much obliged if you use my codes. Comment if you do, and I'll make sure to try to use one of your links in the future. Feel free to reach out with any questions or suggestions. Cake Defi
$50 (DFI Token)
7/26/21 Update - They upped the bonus to $50. So worth it. This is one of the highest APY (~90%) you can get on your crypto assets, and those rates won't last long so it's worth it to get in now. When you sign up for a Pool by Cake account and make your first $50 deposit, you will receive a bonus of $20 worth of DFI. This bonus will be locked up for 180 days in the Confectionery program and automatically yields staking returns during this time. If you use a referral code during sign up (use mine! 930613) it's a $50 bonus for you and a $25 bonus for whoever refers you (again, hopefully me!).
M1 Finance
50
Now up to $50 till September 7, 2021! Deposit $100 get $50 back = instant 50% yield. This is one of my favorite investing apps, although I would consider it a borderline secondary account. It really excels as a long term portfolio where you can set the percentage distributions, and then add funds incrementally. However, it's not at all good for actively trading, as they have limited trade windows. They also have a good borrowing program based off of portfolio value.
Celsius
$40
Earn $40 in BTC with your first deposit of $400 or more. Celsius and BlockFi are the best crypto staking platforms. Celsius, especially, is dedicated to an extremely high level of transparency - something that's extremely important when giving up custody of your crypto. They consistently offer the lowest rate crytpo backed loans as well, and their app has improved in a short amount of time to become one of the best. They also frequently offer best in the business promotions for transferring and holding more assets in the wallet, so you can continue to get free crypto beyond referrals.
Lolli
$10 (BTC)
Sign up, make a purchase, receive $10 (in BTC) bonus cash back. Currently one of the better referral bonuses at $10 for both parties. Another good source of cashback deals, make sure to check multiple services to make sure you're getting the best rates. (P.S. like all cashback signup deals, you have to use the service for a purchase to get the bonus). Receiving cashback in crypto has upside, especially as a low risk way to stick a toe in the pond so to speak.
crypto.com
$50
At the referral screen enter the code: qcscqb79s9. Pass the KYC verification and you get a Sign Up-Bonus ($50 USD in CRO locked in their Wallet) which is unlocked by staking at least 1000 CRO (~$200-$250 depending on spot price) for an MCO Visa Card. The card is a pretty snazzy solid metal card and the perks are great for a debit card. They've also been offering 0% card fees on trading for a couple months which has been super cool.
RebatesMe
$30
Another Cashback portal with a $10 minimum cash back earned as opposed to just purchase amount, i.e. with a %10 cash back rate you would need to spend $100 to earn the $30 bonus. Then again the $30 bonus is pretty generous for this type of site, so I would ultimately recommend you definitely do it, given the time limit is 365 days from opening the account. Also, the terms suggest it is cumulative meaning you may be able to accumulate the $10 cashback over multiple purchases.
TopCashback
$10
To receive your Tell-a-Friend bonus, the person you have referred must sign up to TopCashback from your link and earn $10 payable cashback or more. Another Cashback portal. Tracks a little slower than some of the other portals but tends to have the highest rates. Also they let you send links to friends and family that track cashback to your account, which is pretty nifty and as far as I know unique among the cashback portals (primarily for the technologically challenged in your life who don't want to sign up for an account).
Webull
~$12-1400 (2 Free Stock)
My favorite of the new wave of brokerage apps. It has better charts then its competitors, more frequent and higher value stock bonuses, and, most importantly, free margin access on accounts over $2k. Ideally, this would be used as a primary investing account for actively trading. The community is kinda hilarious too, just be very skeptical of any advice you see there. They towards extreme bullishness.
Rakuten
$10
Sign up for an account, spend $25 through their shopping portal, and get $10 in cash back. Everything credited fine, and if you're familiar with the cashback portals its the exact same concept as all the others. Remember to check your rates on cashbackmonitor to make sure your using the best service for whatever you wanna buy.
Arcadia Power
$10 (Credit)
Enter your existing utility info, and sign up for the Bill Pay service with the 50% wind power option and receive a $10 credit towards your energy bill. Arcadia negotiates with your existing energy provider and wind farms in order to to purchase wind energy certificates on your behalf to match 50% or 100% of your monthly energy usage, depending on your plan. Although the 100% plan has a monthly service charge the 50% plan has no additional charges and shouldn't change anything about your monthly bill. Also, they have an extremely generous referral program where if you can get ten referrals to sign up you get a $1000 credit. Ultimately, I think it's a cool idea to allow more people to tap into renewable energies and has no downsides at the 50% tier. I highly recommend.
Coin zoom
$10 (ZOOM)
Deposit and trade over $100 AND maintain that balance for at least 30 days to receive the bonus. Seems like a fairly ambitious new exchange, trying to combine trading, analytics and staking with a Crypto Debit Card. Free crypto is always worth it methinks, and I do think that these types of integrated exchanges/debit cards are going to only become more popular, which could bode well for their native tokens (ZOOM in this case). That said, if you're not bullish on that concept, you can always trade your bonus into whatever crypto you fancy.
TradeUp
Up to $200 (Free Stock)
Deposit more than $100 to get the full bonus. It's a fine trading app, nothing special to set it apart, and it's definitely not high in my usage rotation. That said, it's probably worth it for the free stock, even if the chances of getting the full $200 are probably rather low. For reference, I got a ~$7 stock, which I imagine is average. Still, $7 off of a $100 deposit is a 7% return.
Firstrade
1 Free Stock
This is probably the best free stock deal/referral I've seen. No deposit necessary, just signup, get approved, and claim your free stock. Definitely worth it for that alone, although I haven't really used the platform much besides that.
moomoo
Up to $1000 (Free Stock)
Make an initial deposit of greater than $500, and receive a free stock worth up to $1000. I honestly only got this account for the free stock, and haven't used it all besides that. They did credit the free stock quickly.
Groundfloor
$10
You get a $10 credit bonus when you deposit $10, so instant 100% gain. The bonus must be invested into the platform before being withdrawn. Decently high rates (~7-13% on semi-risky housing loans (although given the restrictions on foreclosures/evictions right now maybe less so).
eToro
$50
Deposit and trade more than $100 and get $50. This is by far the most generous crypto referral bonus. Personally, I don't like the platform (stock style trading of cryptos) that much but they're good on the bonuses and that's all that really counts. You can follow different traders accounts to create your own portfolio which is the one cool feature I haven't seen often. Oh, and they have their wallet app up and running so you can easily transfer funds out.
Netspend
$20
Deposit $40 to the prepaid card and get $20. One of the better returns for one of these bonuses. The account is a bit janky - pretty much no customer service and lots of weird fees - however, the attached savings account you can sign up for has a 5% yield on balances under $1000, which makes it an attractive option as a reserve savings account. I put a few hundred in there to collect interest, and if needed it's an instant transfer to the netspend card from the savings. Also, they do lots of small mobile deposit & direct deposit promos that are usually worth $5-$15.
Voyager
$25 (BTC)
Deposit and trade more than $100 to get the $25 bonus. Weirdly, this exchange doesn't support pair-to-pair trading only usd-to-crypto trading, so you have to sell to USD and then buy as oppose to directly trading cryptos for another. That said, it's easily one of the higher value and easier requirement bonuses. Make sure to enter the reward code ELIXRM at signup.
Worthy Bonds
$10 (1 Bond)
Purchase a minimum of $200 of bonds (20) and get a free bond. This is basically my savings account. Fixed rate, 5% yields, and they've added automatic compounding on any interest you earn. Takes a couple days for transfers in and out, but the bonds are highly liquid and you can sell them and withdraw your funds at any given time. So if you can afford slightly slower withdraw times than a traditional account it's 500x the national average for savings account interest, and your supporting communities and small businesses.
Coinbase EOS
$12-$52 (EOS)
You will receive $12 USD worth of EOS coins once you complete the "EOS" course. You can earn an additional $10 in EOS coins for up to 4 referrals. Open to existing and new Coinbase accounts, as long as you haven't already earned your free EOS from the lessons. These "Learn & Earn" invites are limited to 4 uses, so I'll try to remove them once they're tapped.
Coinbase XLM
$12-$52 (XLM)
You will receive $12 USD worth of XLM coins once you complete the "Stellar Lumens" course. You can earn an additional $10 in XLM coins for up to 4 referrals. Open to existing and new Coinbase accounts, as long as you haven't already earned your free XLM from the lessons. These "Learn & Earn" invites are limited to 4 uses, so I'll try to remove them once they're tapped.
Coinbase
$10 (BTC)
The standard trade over $100 of crypto and you get $10 of free bitcoin. I honestly don't like Coinbase as much as pretty much any of the other exchanges, but it arguably does have two advantages. Most importantly, is it has the best "Learn & Earn" opportunities to receive new coins just by learning about their architecture, which I think is very important overall to crypto literacy and adoption. Also, it's probably one of the oldest most secure exchanges, so if you don't mind slightly higher fees, you definitely get the best integration status of any of the major exchanges/wallets. Mainly though, free crypto, and I usually just eat the fees once and transfer to wallets I like more.
Coinlist
$10 (BTC)
Buy or sell $100, and earn 0.0015 BTC (~$10) and a chance to win 1 BTC. Seems like a pretty solid crypto wallet/exchange. They have a couple of staking products, wBTC, and interesting offers on new cryptos. Seems far more curated than some of the other exchanges.
iConsumer
$10 (100 Shares)
Another cashback program, it seems to have a smaller selection but generally much higher rates than the other cashback services. The concept of receiving shares as part of the cashback is pretty novel and interesting. If the platform really took off, they could end up being quite a bit more valuable than they were upon receipt.
SwagBucks
$10 (1000SB)
To get the 1000SB, spend $25 or more through the shopping portal. To maximize value on this I think its actually best to stay away from the surveys and focus on money making "Discover" offers/ maximizing cashback awards through the shopping portal. As an example, a good money maker I've seen in the past is a VUSE (e-cig) offer where you buy the kit for like $10 and the payout is 10000SB ($100) for a $90 profit. Payments tend to take a month depending on the offer, but are very reliable and support has come through the few times I've had issues.
Sofi Invest
$50
Open an Active Investing account with $1,000 or more, and you get $50 in stock. That's basically an instant 5% return on your investment, making this one of the better stock signup deals. They were one of the original investing platforms to allow you to invest in fractions of stocks, and they also have crypto investing.
Sofi Money
$50
Deposit $500 to receive the $50 Bonus. It's a nice, no-fee secondary checking account. SoFi also offers investing and loans. They have also partnered with Samsung on this account though it seems that's mainly further integration with Samsung Pay.
Sofi Loans
$300
SoFi uses different referral links for all of their different products. This is not the SoFi Money account referral, this is for loans (new personal loans or student refinancing). They have both personal and student loan refinancing, and seem to have competitive rates overall.
Purple
Up to $300
For new users, up to $300 off. The Purple mattresses and pillows are some straight future tech that are literally saving my back.
Discover Financial
$50
Get approved for any of their standard credit cards and make any purchase for the statement credit. I don't often see referral offers from discover, but this seems like a good one if you're looking for a new card. My discover card is my oldest, and definitely my favorite in terms of cashback and credit line increases/promo offers. From the fine print, "Each eligible friend will receive a $50 statement credit after making a purchase within three months of opening a new Discover account."
Aspiration
$50
Spend $250 within 60 days of opening the account to receive the bonus. One of the more accessible bank bonuses. Aspiration is a pretty cool online bank account, with some unique features. They're very environmentally conscious a base a lot of their features around that. They also let you choose what fee you want to pay them, plant trees with a change roundup program, and the premium subscription has a carbon offset program that purchases carbon offsets automatically for every gallon of gas you buy with the card.
Robinhood
~$5-$200 (Free Stock)
The OG of the mobile trading platforms, Robinhood is very good at everything, but not great. Webull has better charts and free margin access (as opposed to Robinhood's subscription), while other brokerages have other perks (borrowing, etc.). Still, it's a solid platform and some free stock. P.S. The odds are 1 in 150 for the ~$5-$10 stock pool and 1 in 250 for the ~$200 stock pool. Not terrible odds, so how lucky are ya feelin?
Kucoin
$5
It's a fairly small reward bonus but it's an extremely featured exchange. Not only do they have wallet integration, lending, trading and staking, but they also have margin trading with no minimum liquidity (and futures trading). The lack of minimums makes this perfect as a main or side account. They also seem to have a large number of ongoing promotions centered around trading and staking. Code: 2RrK8f1.
BlockFi
$20 (BTC) or $10 (BTC)
BlockFi is one of the best crypto staking platforms, and they recently expanded into trading which is a welcome addition. To qualify for the $20 (BTC) bonus, sign up before August 14th, and deposit/maintain a balance of $500 until 9/14/2020. The $10 (BTC) is the standard bonus and can be completed anytime with a deposit of $100.
NextSeed
$20 Investment Credit
I think this is one of the coolest platforms. It hosts small business and community oriented investment opportunities that are specifically curated by Nextseed (ie there's only 5-10 listings at a time and they're have well vetted financials) that normally just wouldn't be available to small time investors such as myself. As an aside, since the outbreak of Covid I haven't really seen a more supportive community or platform, and my investments seemed to have weathered well which is always a concern for more exotic investments.
MyPoints
25 Points + 1750 Points (~$10)
This is a very similar concept to Swagbucks (surveys, cashback, and "deals"), but has a couple downsides. It has a smaller selection and 1 point is worth less than $.01 (Swagbucks, for instance, 1SB=$.01). However, if you've tapped out certain offers on Swagbucks or other rewards sites, this is a good backup to keep earning on those offers. Spend $20 through the cashback portals to receive the full bonus.
Pi Network
Early Access, 1 Pi
Seems like an interesting altcoin concept that relies on a community driven "trust" validation as opposed to traditional raw computing power validation. One possible downside to cryptos (BTC in particular) is their raw resource consumption could outstrip their utility. This seems like an intelligent and novel possible solution. They have a solid core team and app infrastructure it seems, and like most investments the potential gains getting in on the ground floor are infinitely more. I would recommend it as something to play around with.
