How does the Referral Program work? If you have a brokerage account with Open to the Public Investing (“Public Investing”), you can earn free stock slices by referring friends to Public. Any friend you refer gets a free cut too. First, you need to share your referral code with a friend who doesn’t already have a Public Investing account. If your friend uses your referral code when prompted during the account opening process, is approved for a brokerage account, and makes a deposit, Public Investing will deposit a slice of stock worth anywhere from $4 up to $70 into your account. Your friend will also receive a free portion of the stock. Please keep in mind that once you have claimed your free slice of stock, you cannot withdraw the cash value of your stock slice for 90 days. How do I know if I am eligible to participate? To be eligible to participate, you must have an approved Public Investing brokerage account and successfully funded at least one deposit into that account.
